Fun Ways to Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

I’m a huge fan of Dr. Seuss. The silliness, the illustrations, the word play. It makes me smile. More importantly, my family has spent countless hours having fun together reading his books. I remember how proud my son was when he could read the whole Fox in Sox book by himself without stumbling over the tongue twisters.

Since I’m such a fan, I’ve been busy amassing quite a collection of Dr. Seuss craft and recipe ideas over on my All Things Dr. Seuss Board on Pinterest. I wanted to share some of my favorite ideas to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday. If you’re on Pinterest, check out all of the ideas on my board and please share your favorites with me.

INSPIRE

The most obvious way to celebreate Dr. Seuss’ birthday is to read his books with the kids. I think we’ll read The Lorax and Green Eggs and Ham tonight. Or inspire your children by reading these Dr. Seuss quotes and empowering them with the messages of self-esteem and adventure.

This is the most amazing graphic 30 Dr. Seuss Quotes to Live By from Mamiverse.com. One of my favorites is “Oh, the things you can find if you don’t stay behind.
